Paige Holt named Chief Operating Officer (COO) of CNNMoney Switzerland.
Secretary General for the News Department of the RTS (SSR-SRG) since 2013 and ex-Deputy Director of World Radio Switzerland, Paige Holt has been named Chief Operating Officer of CNNMoney Switzerland.
She will be responsible for the daily operation of the company, especially of its HR, administrative and commercial aspects. She will report directly to Christophe Rasch, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who will be in charge of managing the entire organization and will assume the editorial responsibility of CNNMoney Switzerland. The strategic financial responsibilities will be assumed by Julien Pitton, Chairman of the Board and Christophe Rasch, CEO. Moritz Wuttke will act as Commercial Advisor to the CEO and to the Board. Christophe Wilhelm has been named General Counsel of CNNMoney Switzerland. More nominations will be done in the upcoming weeks.
Paige Holt has been working in broadcast media in Switzerland for the last 17 years. From 2007 to 2013, she was Deputy Director of World Radio Switzerland, a national public service media serving the vast English-language community of Switzerland. From 2013 to 2016, she was Secretary General for the News Department of the RTS (the french-speaking branch of the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation, SSR-SRG). In this role, she held administrative and financial responsibility for 275 journalists.
Her career began in Africa as Projects Coordinator for a NGO working in AIDS prevention in Benin. From there, she moved to Comoros Islands and then Niger where she held positions within both the public and private sectors. Born in Dallas, Texas, USA, Paige received a BA in International Affairs from George Washington University in Washington,DC. She has recently completed an EMBA in International Management at the University of Geneva. She is the Vice-President of the American International Club in Geneva and a volunteer at Groupe Sida Genève, a non-profit AIDS prevention association.
